Impartiality Policy

NAC’s management and employees understand the critical importance of impartiality. It is the core responsibility of all NAC staff, including top management, to conduct accreditation activities in line with the impartiality requirements of the ISO/IEC 17011 standard and legal regulations. NAC:

  • Conducts its accreditation activities independently, free from any commercial, financial, political, or administrative influences that could compromise its impartiality and objectivity.
  • Identifies and analyzes all potential conflicts of interest that could affect the impartiality of its management bodies, committees, personnel, assessors, and technical experts, implementing all necessary measures to mitigate these risks.
  • Refrains from providing conformity assessment services, consulting, or any similar activities to conformity assessment bodies to maintain its impartiality.
  • Offers training services only in a general format, open to all participants, with general content.
  • Supports the development and cooperation with accreditation bodies globally, without engaging in competition.
  • Upholds the principle of non-discrimination, ensuring that relevant parties can effectively participate in maintaining impartiality.
  • Makes its services accessible to all applicants within the scope of its accreditation activities as defined by NAC policies and rules. Access is not conditional on the size of the applicant conformity assessment body, membership in any association or group, or the number of already accredited conformity assessment bodies.
