NAC - National Accreditation Center LLC establishes and provides accreditation programs for laboratories in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 – General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. NAC accreditation helps laboratories deliver services with confidence by performing assessments to ensure they conform to the standard’s requirements. NAC accreditation proves a laboratory’s ability to manage and perform activities defined by its specific program scope of accreditation.
When a laboratory is granted accreditation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and NAC’s specific program requirements, laboratories demonstrate that they are able to obtain independent, third-party, credible test results for themselves and for their customers. All NAC-accredited laboratories are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, the international standard for testing and calibration laboratories. The management system requirements contained in ISO/IEC 17025:2017 meet the principles of, and are aligned with, the internationally recognized quality management system standard, ISO 9001:2015 - Quality management systems – Requirements.
